In 2011 Jasmijn finished medical school at the Leiden University Medical Center. She started her residency at the Radboud university medical center in Nijmegen in combination with a PhD which she completed in 2017 and 2019 respectively. After this she did a fellowship in head and neck surgery and reconstruction at the Radboudumc and Dalhousie University Medical Centre in Halifax, Canada until 2019. She is currently working as a head and neck surgeon and laryngologist at the Radboud university medical center in Nijmegen.
